There is something quietly extraordinary about alpacas.
They are gentle, inquisitive and completely unhurried. Spending time with them has a remarkably calming effect, whether you are seven years old on your first encounter, or eighty-two and welcoming them as part of a therapy programme.
At West Heath Alpacas, we travel to you. Sarah loads up the herd and brings her most sociable alpacas directly to your school, care home, church, community group or event anywhere across Surrey and Hampshire. No travelling on your part, just the joy of alpacas arriving at your door.

Our alpaca experiences brought to you
Private Alpaca meet and greet sessions
A wonderful introduction to the world of alpacas, brought to your chosen location. Spend time with the herd, learn about how they live, what they eat and how their incredible fleece is produced. Ideal for private groups, birthday treats, community events or simply anyone who fancies doing something a little different.
CEVAS accredited educational farm visits for schools
We are a fully CEVAS accredited provider, which means our educational visits meet the requirements for schools and organised youth groups. Sarah's background as a teacher and SENCo means she knows how to engage children of all ages and abilities, making these visits genuinely enriching as well as enormous fun.
Subjects can include animal welfare, British farming, the alpaca fleece-to-product journey, and the importance of looking after the natural world. Visits can be tailored to specific year groups and curriculum needs.
